Zachary is a talking machine. He's a babbler, which is very cute. He "talks" all the time. In sentances. In gibberish.
But now and then we figure out what a word is (Ah-da is what he calls Danica) or he gets a simple one (Dada). He will say Mama on occassion, and he says Emma any time you talk about Ter's dog.
Well, this morning he went to the highchair because he was hungry and said "up-ah". And when I asked him if he wanted a Bear Paw he said "beah-pah". He was quite proud of himself! I was too!
Before we know it will we have four full time talkers in house and the lack of silence will drive us all insane.
He is also getting somewhat good at body part recognition. He can usually find his nose (although this morning when I asked where his nose was he poked himself in the eye), and he knows his head (because we play the "on your head" game all time where we (duh!) put something on his head and say "Fork on your head!" "Ball on your head!") and he knows his belly because we always tickle his belly.
it's super fun to watch your kids learn!
